CERAMICS

I’ve had a passion for ceramics since high school, and I think my time with it in university and my own spare time has been really enlightening. I learned more about the technical aspect of glaze, slip casting, finally getting decently consistent results on a wheel, and most excitingly, building bigger in class.

Working with my hands and having better spatial reasoning have definitely impacted my architecture work, and although maybe they don’t work directly in tandem (trust me, I’ve tried to make a precise architectural model out of clay or combine the two in some way – it's truly not worth the effort,) they certainly complement each other in a beautiful way.
